Flour your work surface and your hands

As you work the dough, if you haven’t floured the surface and your hands, the dough is liable to stick. Don’t go mad, though, just add a little flour at a time.

Knead the dough for 10 minutes

Kneading dough isn’t an exact science, and there are several methods that will work, so if you have or find a way that works for you, go with it.

For those of you who are new to kneading dough, the simplest method we’ve found that works consistently was taught to us by a pastry chef.
